Staff Bios

Jan Karrmann

Hello and welcome to Just Kidding Around Daycare and Preschool.

I'm Jan, the owner of Just Kidding Around. What a lucky lady I am. I have the best job a person could ask for. Not only am I lucky enough to take care of our own three children (ages 7, 9 and 12), I have the privilege of getting to know and help take care of your children as well.

Previously, I was an Executive Secretary at Hubbard Broadcasting to the Chairman, President and CEO for 10 years. While searching for the kind of childcare we desired for our children that fit into our demanding careers, my husband and I realized what a great need there was for more childcare in the Farmington and Lakeville Communities.

I returned to school at Dakota County Technical College and received my Child Development Teacher Qualifications. I also hold two associate degrees in Court Reporting and Legal Specialist areas and completed two years of general study in Business and Music at Luther College.

I enjoy children of all ages and love to be in the classroom whenever I can. I enjoy getting to know everyone and am always amazed at how much the children teach me!

Our family enjoys hockey, gymnastics, bicycling, and going up north on the weekends four-wheeling.

Morgan Auge

Hi, my name is Morgan. I graduated from Farmington High School last year and am attending Inver Hills Community College for Nursing. In my free time I like to play tennis. I have been babysitting for the past 7 years. I love to work with children and have enjoyed working at Just Kidding Around for the past year. You can find me in the infant room playing with the children in the afternoon and helping out in the other classrooms as well.

Julie Imoto

My name is Miss Julie, and I am the younger preschool teacher. I have been working with children for the past 19 years. I am a licensed elementary teacher and have a license to teach children with cognitive delays. I love teaching preschool children and each day brings new excitement for me. I am married and have 4 children of my own who keep me busy with their various school and sporting activities. I love my career and look forward to each day bringing many adventures to your children.
