Staff Bios

Jan Karrmann

Hello and welcome to Just Kidding Around Daycare and Preschool.

I'm Jan, the owner of Just Kidding Around. What a lucky lady I am. I have the best job a person could ask for. Not only am I lucky enough to take care of our own three children (ages 8, 10 and 13), I have the privilege of getting to know and help take care of your children as well.

Previously, I was an Executive Secretary at Hubbard Broadcasting to the Chairman, President and CEO for 10 years. While searching for the kind of childcare we desired for our children that fit into our demanding careers, my husband and I realized what a great need there was for more childcare in the Farmington and Lakeville Communities.

I returned to school at Dakota County Technical College and received my Child Development Teacher Qualifications. I also hold two associate degrees in Court Reporting and Legal Specialist areas and completed two years of general study in Business and Music at Luther College.

I enjoy children of all ages and love to be in the classroom whenever I can. I enjoy getting to know everyone and am always amazed at how much the children teach me!

Recently, I was appointed a fellowship for Child Care WORKS, which is a nonprofit advocacy organization which promotes quality, accessible, affordable child care.

Our family enjoys hockey, lacrosse, gymnastics, bicycling, and going up north on the weekends four-wheeling.

PRESCHOOL: I'm KeriAnn and you'll see me every night at Just Kidding Around. I can help you with any questions you may have at the end of the day. I am working on my degree from River Falls and teach the preschoolers in the afternoon. We love to play!
